Dr. Eduardo Montaña M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A.

Dr. Eduardo Montaña is dual Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and Board Eligible in Preventive Medicine, making him one of the few pediatric cardiologists nationwide. diagnosis, management and treatment of pediatric cholesterol disorders.

Dr. Montaña completed all of his training in Preventive Medicine and Pediatric Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine and his Master of Public Health at Emory’s world-renowned Rollins School of Public Health. He received his residency training in General Pediatrics at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Montaña has served at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Center for Environmental Health and Health Promotion, in the Epidemiological Intelligence Service EIS Program). He later served on the faculty of Emory University School of Medicine, in the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology, and remains an active staff member at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Montaña’s interest in Health Policy led to his appointment as a member of the Executive Board of the National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) and five years as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Hispanic Health Coalition.
